Do I need an appointment?

No, at Bluegrass Urgent Care, you simply walk-in and the receptionist will be happy to assist you.   However, if you would like to schedule an appointment for follow-up, we will gladly accommodate you.

What do I need to bring with me?

Please bring your picture ID, insurance card (if applicable), and any applicable co-pay/ deductible that may be due at the time of the visit.

What if I don't have insurance?

Your health care charges may vary; however, Bluegrass Urgent Care requires a $100 payment at the time of your visit. If you should need additional tests, treatment, or medical equipment, there will be additional charges. Please feel free to ask the attending Medical Assistant and/or Physician about additional charges.

We accept cash, checks, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.

What insurances do you accept and will I owe a co-payment? 


We, at Bluegrass Urgent Care, accept most insurances including Medicaid and Medicare.  Co-payments and deductibles vary and are a contractual agreement between you and your insurance company.  Co-payments and deductibles are required at the time of service.

Will I see a physician on my visit?

Yes, you can feel confident that Bluegrass Urgent Care is staffed by experienced Medical Doctors who will attend to you on your visit.

Do you see patients for routine medical needs?

Absolutely!  You can think of Bluegrass Urgent Care as a walk-in Doctor’s office, meeting patient’s routine and emergency needs.  We also staff medical specialists that see patients here on a scheduled basis.  

What types of emergency services do you offer?

For any life threatening illness or injury, including chest pains, please contact 911 immediately. Otherwise, please see a list of our services here.

Do you do laboratory testing?

Yes, Bluegrass Urgent Care does laboratory testing.  If you are concerned about a medical condition, come in and our physician will obtain the proper lab tests to put your mind at ease.  If your physician requested that you get your blood drawn at a laboratory, stop by here and we will draw your blood in a very time-efficient manner.  

Can I bring my children to the facility?

Yes!  All of the Bluegrass Urgent Care physicians are knowledgeable in Pediatric Care.  Our staff and physicians aim to make every child’s visit a pleasurable one.  We even have a play area in our waiting room!
